Communications Director

About Dustin Wegner
Growing up on the Northwest side of Fort Wayne, I was connected to several youth groups and volunteered at many of the churches I attended. After graduating from Carroll High School, I moved to Indianapolis to attend Bible College, and then returned to Fort Wayne to work with multiple churches in the area. It was at County Line Church of God in Auburn that I met my wife, Libby, and we got married in 2015 at Harvest Fellowship my childhood church home.

I’ve been in church communications since Bible College, starting with photography and video production, which I quickly fell in love with. Growing up with Dyslexia gave me my “edge”—teaching me resilience and how to be a self-learner. Those skills paid off as I took on more responsibilities, leading teams, and helping dreams come true at multiple organizations. I’m all about the big picture—connecting the dots between vision and execution. And when I’m not crafting communications, you’ll find me behind a camera, chasing the perfect coffee shot in more ways than one.

In September 2019, I joined the Brookside staff, and I haven’t looked back since. Now, as the Director of Communications here, I get to bring everything I’ve learned to the table—from crafting emails to full-scale brand implementation. But here’s the thing—I don’t want to keep it all to myself. I love helping others. So, if you’re reading this and want to swap ideas, talk, or just share wins and struggles, let’s grab lunch or dinner and celebrate what Jesus is doing in our lives!
